It's a bran disorder. Autistic children have well preschoolers have slightly larger than normal brains and can't distinguish faces from normal inanimate objects. You can do tests on a child to see if the child has autism and thus the diagnosis is made. How can someone falsely diagnose something you can physically see? -___-

Wergersnee, Autism does not mean "mental retardation". Autism is a social disorder. It means that Autism impairs a person's ability to interact with others. There is an entire autism spectrum ranging from mild Asperger's (which is not noticeable) to severely Autistic. (Non-verbal type). Autism is a really difficult disorder to comprehend. I was very, very lucky that I have only mild Asperger's. I live a relatively normal life compared to others.
