Research "Demotic Script" this is one of the easiest writing scripts of the ancient middle east. The simplicity of the script meant that there was a slight increase in literacy rates because it was easer to comprehend. Besides, the Sumerians wrote in cuneiform using square stylii on clay tablets. The Egyptians wrote with pen and ink on the first form of paper.
